The program
This retreat program is not just another yoga retreat. This program is the start of the new version of you. I believe profoundly that no matter your life’s situation, your home reality, your stuckness in life. No matter the obstacles, no matter your age or physical body shape, if you have determination, patience, and the will to change, you can create your desired healthy lifestyle. Where you have purpose, clarity, awareness, fulfillment, and a deeper connection with who you truly are meant to be.
This is what I want to help you with in this program. I want to give you the tools to create a more peaceful, healthier, deeper, fulfilling practice that will feel more aligned with your needs.
Let me invite you to Thailand, and let me help you move out of stagnation. Let me clear out the cobwebs for you and help you find your way back to your practice.
The work
After arrival, we stretch out the Jetleg in a Restorative Yin class, where I help you to relax, melt your stress away, and bring you down to earth. After you are totally relaxed, we gather in the sharing circle to find out what will help you move forward in the transformation. We will address painpoints and shed light on belief systems that are keeping you stuck.
The next day, we start with a strong slow flow, designed to gently help you out of your comfort zone, and find a new edge. Getting you out of the beginners fase fast. With a focus on the breath, we move through Hatha yoga ( focus on alignment, longer holds ) with dynamic Vinyasa flow to lift your energy to new levels.
The Sound healing session is designed to realign the Chakras and lift your frequencies to higher levels. Calming and resetting your nervous system with grounding melodies.
With breathwork and Kundalini Yogic exercises, we activate prana (life force energy) in your body, balancing energy flows and activating and regulating meridians (energy channels).
In the Yin classes, we continue to heal and reset the nervous system. Most likely, you feel anxious and stuck in your life, or on the verge of burnout, because your nervous system is out of balance. Pain in the lower back, stiffness in the shoulders, insomnia, anxiety, chronic stress… all symptoms of an unbalanced nervous system.
This is where we’re gonna focus mostly during the retreat. The gentle evening slow flow classes will help you to completely surrender and listen to your body. Calming down the senses even more. Learning to slow down and find your center again.
The approach
Through sharing circles, through carefully designed classes focused on the heart space, through mindful meditation to connect and slow down, through healing frequency sound healing, and nurturing restorative Yin classes, through Reiki and spa treatments, we realign the student’s bodies with their natural ability to heal itself. Through reflection talks, we bring the pain points to the surface, and by bringing them to the light, we can erase them from their lives.
The focus of the program is to reset the nervous system and realign the Chakra system, so that energy can run freely. If your nervous system is out of balance or your Chakra system is blocked, this might explain all the symptoms you’re feeling. Anxiety, insomnia, burnout, chronic stress, back pain, feeling heavy, or involuntary procrastination. By resetting your parasympathetic nervous system, your body comes out of fight or flight mode. From here, we can rebuild your body to feel more grounded, stronger, lighter, healthier.
The work continues
As an addition to the retreat, you will get a free online Yin yoga program, designed to take you from beginner to advanced in 12 classes. You can practice this at home and return to it anytime you want.
This program will deepen your practice and help you quiet your monkey mind. You will learn to slow down, find stillness, and gently increase flexibility.
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative style of yoga in which poses are held for longer periods of time—typically 2 to 10 minutes—to target the body’s deep connective tissues such as fascia, ligaments, and joints. The connective tissue ( Fascia ) runs all the way through our body and holds everything together, bones, muscles, joints, and organs. When we work on our fascia, we increase flexibility, improve blood flow, increase longevity, and keep our bodies healthy and our minds relaxed.
The excursions
As an addition to the retreat, I want to take you on a boat trip around the famous islands surrounding Koh Yao Noi.
Like James Bond Island or the Island where they filmed the movie, The Beach. The island Ko Phi Phi Le, with the beach Maya Bay. Where Leonardo DiCaprio got into all kinds of trouble. This little beach, tucked between mountain cliffs, is a must-see when you’re so close to it.
We can also go kayaking between the mangrove forests of Krabi, just a boat trip away from the retreat. A very nice experience with beautiful views of jungle, beaches, and monkeys.
Great way to catch the sun and bond with your new retreat friends on a breath taking advanture.
